As an international student, Study Abroad allows you to earn credit toward your home degree while living and studying in Australia.

You can join the Study Abroad Program for one or two semesters and at the same time experience different cultures and make long lasting Australian and international friendships.

Entry requirements

Study Abroad Undergraduate applicants should:

  • have successfully completed at least one semester of study at a recognised tertiary institution, or
  • have successfully completed senior secondary school studies at a similar level to Australian Year 12, and
  • meet the minimum English language requirements, if English is not their first language.

Study Abroad Postgraduate applicants should: 

  • have successfully completed a bachelor level qualification at a recognised tertiary institution, and
  • meet the minimum English language requirements, if English is not their first language.

If you are currently enrolled at an accredited tertiary institution, you should check with your home institution regarding credit transfer for courses studied at USC, prior to commencing your Study Abroad program.

  1. * Tuition fees are reviewed each calendar year. The fee you must pay for a given semester/trimester is that which has been approved by USC for the calendar year within which the semester/trimester falls.
  2. The increase in tuition fees from one calendar year to the next will be no more than 7 percent.
  3. All prices quoted are in Australian Dollars (A$).
  4. Tuition fees quoted do not include visa application fees.

How to apply

If you are applying to USC's Study Abroad Program through one of our partner institutions, please contact your home institution's international office for instructions regarding how to apply.

Step 1—Complete an application form

Complete the Study Abroad application form or apply via one of our overseas representatives.

Step 2—Submit completed application form

Submit your completed application form and supporting documentation to USC International.

USC will accept applications any time prior to the start of your program, however as the Student visa application process can take time, we recommend that you take this into account in your planning. This will ensure you are able to obtain your visa in time to commence.
