Orientation to USC Sunshine Coast

Breadcrumbs

What to attend?

We have a jam-packed program for you, running from Monday 17 July to Wednesday 19 July. Day one kicks off from 9am with several super handy study skills sessions followed by the USC Market Day.

Day two is your Faculty Day which we've tailored just for you and your program. View the timetable to see which Faculty Day you should attend (either Tuesday or Wednesday) and arrive by 10am for the Official Welcome. You'll then head to your program information session to find out all you need to know about your program - you don't want to miss this.

If you have difficulties accessing any Orientation activities or information due to a disability, learning disorder, injury or illness, please contact our Disability Services team in advance so they can assist you.

Monday 17 July - Your Market Day and Academic Study Skills Sessions

In addition to stalls and live entertainment, there are a number of other activities and sessions during Market Day that will help you prepare for study.

We've planned sessions around the skills and information most relevant to you at this time of your student career. These sessions will equip you with the academic, research and IT literacy skills to get you off to a great start. You can also learn more about the services provided at USC and how to access them.

  • International students must attend the compulsory International Student Orientation session at 1pm in the Innovation Centre. Bring your passport to register before the session.
