Climate change effects on flows in box gutters to reduce overflow damage to buildings

Breadcrumbs

Due to climate change, weather patterns and rainfall intensities in Australia are changing. Water overflow in box guttering systems leads to extensive costs due to internal damage to buildings caused by flooding. By examining the expected changes to rainfall patterns, an investigation into box gutters in roof drainage systems will be undertaken to reduce potential overflows in box gutters.

This project is funded and supported by the AHSCA Research Foundation.
