Carla Schiemer has recently commenced her PhD focusing on medicinal cannabis flower and neurocognitive functions relevant for driving. Carla’s research aims to identify neural measures that are most sensitive to acute cannabis consumption, which will provide valuable insight into how medicinal cannabis affects key domains that are required for safe driving.

Carla has also been employed as a Research Assistant since 2021. Her current role involves compiling ethics applications, data collection, data analysis, participant recruitment and assisting senior researchers with manuscripts.
