Information sessions are also held at the start of each semester.

How long can I go?
You can study overseas for:
- a short–term program (a few weeks)
- one semester
- a full academic year ‡
What happens to my USC enrolment?
During your GO Program semester you will remain enrolled at USC.
You will be required to do the equivalent of 4 courses (0.500 EFTSL †) of study overseas.
The census date for withdrawal without financial or academic penalty is USC's Semester 1 or 2 census date.
How much does it cost?
As you remain enrolled at USC, your fees are paid under the same arrangements as your current USC degree:
- students eligible to pay fees under HECS or HECS–HELP pay student contributions
- students who are not eligible to pay fees under HECS or HECS–HELP pay full tuition fees
- students on an international student visa pay fees based on their program of enrolment
You will need to budget for your own travel and living expenses (including accommodation and health insurance). Costs will vary depending on the destination you choose.
