Graduands’ guests are welcome at the University of the Sunshine Coast. It is recommended guests plan to arrive at the Sports Stadium at least 40 minutes before the ceremony is scheduled to commence.  

When making plans to attend the Graduation ceremony please consider the following:

  • refer to the information about guest tickets and seating
  • plan your journey by referring to parking and directions
  • consider the length and timing of the ceremony for children under the age of eight years (children four years and over require a guest ticket). Family friendly alternative guest options are available.
  • remember to bring along your guest tickets – these tickets are required in order to gain access to the venue
  • professional photographers are available to take individual, group and family portraits before and after the ceremony
  • refreshments are available for purchase before the ceremony at food outlets on campus
  • your guest ticket entitles you to complimentary food at the Graduation function after the ceremony 
  • if you require assistance at the ceremony, please organise for your graduand to contact the Disability Support Officer 
     

USC recommends graduands and families book travel arrangements to the ceremony only once the ceremony date and the graduand's completion of degree program have been confirmed in writing.
