Ceremony registration and attendance
Invitation
Six weeks prior to the Graduation ceremony, all graduands eligible to graduate at the on-campus Graduation ceremony will receive an email invitation to their USC student email account.
Remember to update your contact details (postal and email addresses) on USC Central to ensure you receive your invitation and remember to check your USC student email account.
RSVP
Graduands are required to advise their attendance to the graduation ceremony for which they have been sent an invitation. The RSVP is required by the date advised on the invitation.
If no response is received by the advertised due date, you are considered as not participating in the Graduation ceremony and will be marked as inabsentia.
Graduation Guide
The graduation guide contains important information for graduands including dates, times and deadlines relating to the Graduation ceremony will be available for graduands to download once the invitation has been sent.
Graduands should check the latest announcements on a regular basis for updates regarding the ceremony, collection of academic dress, and more.
Inabsentia
If you are unable to attend the ceremony, your degree certificate (testamur) will be posted to your current mailing address, as recorded on USC Central, within ten working days after the Graduation ceremony.
Visa requirements and travel arrangements
Overseas students attending the Graduation ceremony are responsible for obtaining any required visas, and for making any accommodation and travel arrangements.
Please note that it may take up to four weeks to be issued with a visa.

USC recommends graduands and families book travel arrangements to the ceremony only once the ceremony date and the graduand's completion of program have been confirmed in writing on this website.
