Graduation ceremony dates
The confirmed dates for the 2012 Graduation ceremonies are:

Wednesday 4 April 2012 - for students who successfully complete requirements for their degree in Study Period 2, 2011. Ceremony commencement times are below. Please note the separate ceremonies for each faculty.

Faculty of Science, Health, Education and Engineering: ceremony commences at 11am in the Sports Stadium.
Refer to information for graduands for information on activities prior, during and after the ceremony.
Faculty of Arts and Business: ceremony commences at 5pm in the Sports Stadium. Refer to information for graduands for information on activities prior, during and after the ceremony.
- Friday 5 October 2012 - for students who successfully complete requirements for their degree in Study Period 1, 2012 (ceremony times to be advised).
You will receive a Statement of Completion letter at the end of your final semester / session shortly after results are released, confirming your eligibility to graduate. You will be invited to attend the graduation ceremony stated in your Statement of Completion letter.
If you are unable to attend the ceremony attached to your completion period, you will be graduated in absentia and the degree certificate (testamur) will be posted to the mailing address, as recorded on USCCentral, within 10 working days after the graduation ceremony. Please refer to the Graduation - Academic Policy for details.
Your graduation invitation will be sent to your USC student email account six weeks prior to your graduation ceremony date. Please ensure all contact details on USC Central are up-to-date.
USC recommends graduands and families book travel arrangements to the ceremony only once the ceremony date and the graduand's completion of program has been confirmed in writing, and the date of the ceremony is on this website.
