Arrival and Orientation
USC International aim to make your life at USC as easy and enjoyable as possible. A range of services are available to help, including Orientation.
Arrival and preparation
- Transfers—Airport transfers can be booked online or arranged through Accommodation Services.
- Welcome Pack—USC will supply you with a welcome pack during Orientation. This will include:
- maps of the campus and local area
- an orientation program
- a Welcome Guide to the University and local area
- bus timetables and other important information
- Academic skills programs—learn about academic requirements and develop the skills you need for study at USC. Assignment Writing @ USC for International Students is a free session that all international students should plan to attend.
- Enabling courses—learn new skills, refresh your knowledge, and increase your potential for excellent results in your undergraduate degree program.
- Update your Australian address details using USC Central—USC's online access to your personal and enrolment details. *
Orientation
Semester 2, 2012 Orientation Week will be held from 16–20 July 2012.
Orientation is compulsory for all new international students. Please make arrangements to arrive at the Sunshine Coast before Orientation is due to start.
International students are particularly encouraged to attend the social events during Orientation.
These events are a great way to make new friends, explore the local area and begin your Australian experience.
