University-wide postgraduate scholarships
Rotary Scholarship for Postgraduate Studies
These scholarships were established in 2001 by the Rotary Clubs of the Sunshine Coast, Queensland, Australia. Three Scholarships are awarded annually to postgraduate students. One from each faculty, as selected by the Executive Deans of the Faculty, and a further student selected by the Pro-Vice Chancellor (Research).
There are no application forms for these scholarships as awards are made based on the Executive Deans' nominations.

Graduate Women Queensland (GWQ)Sunshine Coast Branch Bursaries
GWQ Sunshine Coast Branch will offer 3 annual non-renewable bursaries, each of A$1000 to assist with educational expenses for full-time or part-time female students in postgraduate study (except for Graduate Diploma and Graduate Certificate level study).
Application forms will be available on this website in April, 2013 along with Academic Referee and Employment/Community Referee forms. Short-listed applicants will be required to attend a panel interview at USC on Saturday 28 September 2013. The 3 successful applicants will be expected to attend the Annual GWQ community breakfast to receive their Award on Saturday 2 November 2013, at Chancellor Tavern, Sippy Downs.

Fulbright Postgraduate Scholarships
Fulbright Postgraduate Scholarships are available to Australian citizens to engage in 8–12 months of research relevant to an Australian PhD; or undertake an approved course of study in an American higher degree or its equivalent.
These scholarships are aimed at current PhD students, honours students, or honours graduates who are considering postgraduate study in the US.

Support for Indigenous students
USC Indigenous Scholarship — Honours or Postgraduate study
The USC Indigenous Scholarship was established in 2011 to support indigenous Australians wishing to pursue further studies at honours level or postgraduate study, including higher degrees by research (HDR).

| Value: | The scholarship is valued at A$4000 to be paid in instalments over 2 semesters when studying full-time. For part-time study, payment is pro-rata, proportionate to the units taken (e.g. 6 or 12 unit course). In addition, all course fees and the Student Services and Amenities Fee will be waived. |
| Number: | Four (4) scholarships were available in 2012, with an equivalent number expected to be offered for 2013. |
