External Relations provides support and information about studying at USC to career advisers, teachers, prospective students and members of the community through a range of marketing and engagement strategies.
The External Relations team also includes highly-trained Student Ambassadors who provide detailed information about studying at USC to prospective students.

This team is responsible for liaising with high school career advisers and other school staff throughout Queensland, and the coordination of activities for schools. These include visits to schools by USC academics and Student Ambassadors, campus tours for school groups and career markets. They are also involved in the promotion of the USC Headstart Program.

Information Events Team
This team is responsible for planning and coordinating a wide range of USC information events held both on and off campus. These include, but are not limited to, Headstart Information Evenings, regional information evenings, Mid-year Entry Information Evening, USC Open Day, Postgraduate Information Evening, Parent Information Evening, Experience USC Days, Year 11 Careers Day and USC Options Evening.

Student Ambassadors
Student Ambassadors are current USC students, which means they can provide your students with not only all the facts about studying at USC, but also an insider's perspective on university life.
The Student Ambassador team is involved in a number of engagement activities such as:
- delivering presentations
- taking visitors on campus tours
- assisting in the delivery of USC events
- providing parents and students with detailed information about studying at USC
- attending regional career markets and other community events
Our Student Ambassadors are highly-trained and are available to speak with students on a wide range of topics such as what you can study at USC, how to apply, study costs, scholarships, financial assistance and USC's support services. If you would like to have a Student Ambassador deliver a presentation to your students please contact External Relations.
