USC campus visit
(Years 8-12) (Available Jan to Dec)
Every university is different and students can benefit greatly from experiencing the uni campus first hand. A quarter or half-day campus visit is a great way for your students to experience USC, speak to current students and explore our many facilities. If your school is located off the Sunshine Coast, we are only an hour north of Brisbane, so book a campus visit for when you’re next heading this way.
Experience USC Day – 6 June
(Years 9 and 10)
Experience USC Day gives students the opportunity to get involved in more than 25 hands-on activities to explore their career opportunities. Students can gain insight into industries, careers and how they can achieve their goals.
Tips about preparing for your visit to USC:
- To ensure your visit to campus goes off without a hitch we’ll work with you throughout the development of the schedule to make sure it’s right for your students. About two weeks prior to your visit we will reconfirm all details, including a mobile phone number in case we need to call en-route to the campus.
- Please confirm your bus/transport booking prior to the day and also let us know if you will require bus parking... because we’ll have trouble squeezing your bus into a car space!
- You don’t want to be late to the big day - when planning travel times consider peak hour traffic conditions, road works and rest breaks (if travelling for more than two hours). Maps of the area surrounding USC are available on this website.
- We want your students to have a great time on campus, which means they need to come prepared with comfortable footwear, a water bottle, hat, sunscreen and morning tea/lunch (if relevant). Please note students will be outdoors when travelling between buildings... and when admiring the kangaroos!
- Students aren't the only ones to find the campus fascinating - teachers do too! Please make sure your students are accompanied by adequate teacher supervision on each of the tours/activities on campus.
