Opportunities for schools
Not only can your students visit our campus and take part in a range of presentations at school, but they can also get involved in a range of events, programs and activities.
Experience USC Day
Years 9 and 10 students from participating schools can get involved in hands-on activities and explore their career opportunities at Experience USC Day. Students gain insight into different industries, careers and how they can achieve their goals.
Over 25 workshops are offered in the areas of:
- Business and IT
- Communication and design
- Education
- Health
- Humanities and social sciences
- Science and engineering

University Showcase
Year 12 students at participating schools can explore their tertiary study options at a University Showcases held in the Sunshine Coast, Wide Bay, and Toowoomba and Warwick regions.
University Showcase brings representatives from Queensland universities to schools, providing a one-stop-shop for students to learn more about degree programs, how to apply, study costs, accommodation options and life as a university student.
Students who attend the Sunshine Coast University Showcase can also speak with representatives from the Sunshine Coast TAFE and the Australian Defence Force Academy.

Business Learning Days

Language Immersion Days
Year 10 and 11 students can immerse themselves in the French, Japanese, Indonesian, German and Italian languages by interacting with native speakers, and attending lectures, conversation classes and interactive activities.

Primary Industry Centre for Science Education (PICSE)
The Primary Industry Centre for Science Education (PICSE) delivers presentations, camps, award programs and professional development to encourage students to study science at a tertiary level and pursue careers in agribusiness and research institutions.

Voices on the Coast
4–5 June 2012
Voices on the Coast Youth Literature Festival is an annual regional event which brings some of Australia's finest writers, poets, illustrators and performers to the Sunshine Coast. The program consists of a range of creative and stimulating activities and events for school students and adults.

USC Art Gallery
School groups are invited to attend the art exhibitions held in the USC Art Gallery. An education resource for teachers about Indigenous art on campus is also available. For more information, contact the USC Art Gallery.
USC Sport
