Tertiary Preparation Pathway Educational Access Grant
The University of the Sunshine Coast recognises that some Tertiary Preparation Pathway (TPP) applicants may experience on-going financial hardship which could deter them from applying for the program. As a result USC will identify students that may be eligible for a grant to assist with cost of the Queensland Tertiary Admissions Centre (QTAC) application fee, via details provided as part of the on-line QTAC application.
Steps to apply for the grant:
Step 1.
When you complete your QTAC application online, you will be directed to select one or more of the eight Educational Access Scheme (EAS) categories. If you are experiencing financial hardship or are from a low income background, please ensure that you select Category 2: Financial Hardship as at least one of the categories in your EAS application and provide the relevant documentation required by QTAC for your application to be assessed.
Step 2.
Students who are eligible for the grant, will be contacted via their USC student email account after acceptance of a place in the program. The email will advise them of the process to apply for the grant to assist with covering the cost of the application fee and . The grant will be paid directly from USC.
Step 3.
Upon receipt of the email confirming eligibility, submit the required form (which will be sent with the email) form to Student Administration by the due date on the form.

- Nominating TPP as the 1st preference on the QTAC application
- Continuing enrolment as a domestic student in the Tertiary Preparation Pathway program;
- Active participation* in the Tertiary Preparation Pathway program
*Active participation will be assessed through confirmation of submission of required assessment items for TPP courses.
