Student Update
The Department of Human Services has launched Facebook and Twitter accounts to keep students up-to-date with the latest information about support, payments and services, including relevant Centrelink and Medicare information. The accounts also display important messages in times of national disasters (fires, floods etc).
Student Update is primarily aimed at secondary and tertiary students, but also provides useful information for schools, relevant organisations and parents. There is an opportunity to ask questions through the accounts and receive timely responses from experts within the Department.
