Indigenous Cadetship Support (ICS)

Benjamin Cross looks out over a construction site, holding plans in his hand.

Indigenous Cadetship Support (ICS) is aimed at improving the job prospects of Indigenous Australian students.

It links full-time Indigenous students undertaking a diploma, an advanced diploma or their first undergraduate degree with employers who can give them work placements and ongoing employment once they finish their studies.

ICS is part of the Indigenous Employment Program managed by the Department of Education, Employment and Workplace Relations (DEEWR).

An Indigenous Services Officer is available to assist students with finding a cadetship, registering via the ICS website, and any other support.
