Student complaints and grievances
There may be instances where you disagree with or seek to challenge a decision or action of the University. Processes are in place for you to make complaints and raise your grievances with the University.
USC recognises that complaints and feedback are an important part of ongoing quality and service improvements. Feedback is always welcome and the University is committed to working with you to effectively resolve your grievance.
Policies and processes
It is important to understand the policies that relate to your complaint, and that apply to you as a student at the University. You also need to follow the correct process when lodging a complaint (policies below).
All University policies, rules, plans and procedures are accessible on the USC website but below are some key student-related policies that you may seek to refer to.
Academic policies
These policies explain your and the University's responsibilities in relation to academic integrity and identifying and addressing academic misconduct.
Student rights and responsibilities
These policies outline your rights and responsibilities as a student and the University's expectations of your conduct.
Grievance policies
These policies contain important information about the processes you should take to make a complaint, appeal or raise a grievance with the University.
