| Description |
In December 2009 the National Library launched its new integrated discovery service called Trove. All the records that are currently in ARO are already available in Trove, which also includes millions of research outputs not present in ARO.
Trove is gradually being enhanced to include core features present in Australian Research Online. When this process is complete, the existing ARO service will be turned off, and a re-direct put into place from the ARO website to the Trove site. This process is expected to be completed in the first quarter of 2011.
ARO (Australian Research Online) is a multidisciplinary database of scholarly materials held by Australian universities, the National Library of Australia, and other research agencies such as Australian Policy Online. Materials include published articles, working papers, conference proceedings, historic photographs and PhD theses.
Find all of the works by a researcher (even if they have moved universities), or a topic of research (from its beginnings to the current day), or the combined output of a consortium of universities. Search by region or campus, or type of content.
Includes research in any form - published or unpublished, text, image or dataset, historical or current. |
