Description JSTOR is a digital archive collection of core scholarly journals, starting with the very first issues, many of which were published as far back as the nineteenth century.

Current issues of journals are not available (refer to information on the Moving Wall below), although some journals do link to the newest editions available in Project Muse, which USC also subscribes to.

The Moving Wall
JSTOR's agreements with publishers include an updating provision referred to as a 'moving wall'. The moving wall is a fixed period of time ranging, in most cases, from 3–5 years, that defines the gap between the most recently published issue of any journal and the date of the most recent issue available in JSTOR.  However, publishers reserve the right to elect the gap to be anywhere from 0-10 years.
