Using Endnote

What is EndNote?

EndNote is a database program that manages bibliographic references and creates bibliographies automatically.

With EndNote software you can create a personalised database of references, including urls, .pdfs and abstracts. The software allows you to enter references yourself or import them from a database (such as Proquest). From this, you can then create a bibliography for your thesis, assignment or journal article in the citation style you require.

EndNote is available to all students, undergraduates, honours, postgraduate coursework and higher degree by research.

The University provides access to EndNote X4.

How do I access EndNote?

On campus

EndNote access is available for University of the Sunshine Coast students in the computer laboratories on campus (including the library information commons) and on all staff machines.

The IT Service Desk manages access to EndNote.

At home

University of the Sunshine Coast staff and postgraduate students may borrow a copy of the EndNote software from the Library Loans Desk to load on their home computer for teaching and research purposes.
