Why evaluate?

As you have discovered, it is easy to find lots of information when you are searching, but this does not mean that it is all equally valuable.

It is important to evaluate the information that you find, so that you can distinguish the 'trash' from the 'treasure', as using inappropriate information sources will affect the quality of your work and therefore affect your results.
