Vice-Chancellor and President's welcome
Welcome to the University of the Sunshine Coast, Australia’s fastest-growing campus, where about 8,000 students are gaining a quality education in a stunning coastal environment.
USC’s progress reflects and supports this vibrant region as increasing numbers of students pursue our study programs and research opportunities as pathways to rewarding professional careers.
Students consistently rank USC in the top cohort of universities nationwide for the high standard of their educational experience.
This is reinforced by the University’s ongoing, remarkable success with the Australian Learning and Teaching Council (ALTC), which has awarded prestigious citations to 17 of our outstanding staff in the past three years, as well a National Program Award, a Leadership for Excellence in Learning and Teaching Grant, and an Innovation and Development Grant in 2011.
We are an ambitious institution that values face-to-face communication and problem-solving, innovation and work-integrated learning.
After consistent industry, government and community recognition for our research endeavours, USC this year received a major grant worth $5.45million under the Collaborative Research Networks program for a project that will lift our research profile to a new level.
The Sunshine Coast is a beautiful place in which to live and study. The USC campus emphasises friendliness and support for all domestic and International students.
