Eduroam Wireless Network
Eduroam is a wireless network provided across most Universities in Australia, and many others around the world, that will allow students and staff of member institutions to connect using their home institution’s username and password.
What this means for you.
For Staff and Students of USC visiting other member institutions, this will allow you to connect to their wireless eduroam network using your USC credentials.
For Visiting Students and Staff of other participating Universities, this will allow you to connect to the wireless eduroam network provided on the USC campus using your home institutions credentials.

Note: Students of USC will not be able to use the eduroam wireless network while on the USC campus. This is for visiting Staff and Students only.
Connecting to Eduroam.
To connect to the eduroam wireless network you will require a wireless capable laptop or mobile device.

For all Eduroam Users
When connecting to the eduroam wireless network it is very important to include both your home institution’s username as well as your home domain, eg tsmith@institution.edu.au (plus your usual password) in order to login.
For USC Staff & Students this will be your email address, eg tjs001@student.usc.edu.au
Conditions of Use
The use of Eduroam is governed by the Australian Eduroam Policy and the University of Sunshine Coast’s Acceptable Use of Information Technology Resources Policy.
Visitors are also required to adhere to their home institutions acceptable use policies. Authentication and activity may be logged and monitored for statistical purposes or possible network abuse.
