Connecting to USC Wireless Android Device

IMPORTANT: Android devices are not able to navigate to external websites as the operating system does not support the option to enter proxy details for Wifi networks.

Step 1

Open the Application Menu and tap Settings. 

 

 

 

 

  

 

 

 

 

Step 2

Select 'Wireless & networks'

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Step 3

Turn on your Wi-Fi, then select the 'Wi-Fi settings' option

 

 

 

Step 4

Select the 'USC Wireless +' network.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Step 5

Use the following details:

  • EAP Method:  PEAP
  • Phase 2 authentication:  MSCHAPV2
  • Identity:  Your USC email address
  • Password (scroll further down):  Your USC Password

Tap the connect button.

You should now be connected to the wireless network
