Innovation Centre
The Innovation Centre is a Business Incubator and Business Accelerator supporting the start-up and growth of innovative businesses on the Sunshine Coast.
It was established with the support of all three levels of government. The Innovation Centre is located on the University's campus at Sippy Downs.
Supporting knowledge-based business
The Innovation Centre's Business Incubator and Business Accelerator provides office space and business development services to assist the creation of jobs and to support knowledge-based businesses in the local area.

Supporting enterprising students
Working with USC's Faculty of Business, the Innovation Centre helps motivated students and graduates to start businesses. USC students may undertake a minor in Entrepreneurship as part of any degree program.
The Innovation Centre also offers a range of opportunities including mentoring, networking opportunities and regular events to support enterprising students and graduates of USC.
Regular events
The Innovation Centre offers an extensive program of events. Business professionals across a range of areas provide guidance and advice in formal and informal settings throughout the year:
- Enterprise Tuesday runs monthly and is a free evening program open to all USC students, staff and the local business community.
- Boardroom Briefings offer start-up businesses regular access to presentations from specialised professionals.
- A range of practical Executive Education Courses are also available.
