Marketing and Communications
Marketing and Communications performs marketing and media-related functions for the University. These include:
The Director, Marketing and Communications oversees the functions of the office and is responsible for strategic planning, market research, corporate image and advertising.
The Director reports to the Pro Vice-Chancellor (International and Quality). The Marketing Administration Officer has administrative, advertising and financial management responsibilities.
Areas within Marketing and Communications include:
- Media Relations: facilitates the flow of information between the University and the media and also produces the University's Community magazine.
- External Relations: manages relationships with schools and coordinates programs and events to engage prospective students and members of the community with the University.
- Communications: coordinates a range of online and print communications such as course and program guides, the University's annual report and the corporate website. The unit also coordinates the University's Graduation ceremonies.
- Design and Production: manages all graphic design work (electronic and print) for the University, and is responsible for maintaining the University's visual image.
