Office of Learning and Teaching

Welcome to the Office of Learning and Teaching (OLT). The role of the OLT is to promote and support advancement of USC's learning and teaching profile, performance and culture.

The OLT has a wide range of functions and services that support learning and teaching across the University.

The Manager of the OLT reports to the Deputy Vice-Chancellor and the Office is part of Office of the Deputy Vice-Chancellor

Key staff in the OLT provide the following support:

  • The Senior Academic Advisor supports the unit through strategy planning and quality assurance. 
  • The Academic Development Officer coordinates a range of professional development activities for academic and sessional staff.
  • The Grants and Awards Officer provides services to support applicants in submitting grant and citation proposals.
  • Dr Kathy Lynch, Associate Professor in ICT Research and Development, is an interdisciplinary researcher with a background in education and information technology.

A subsection of the OLT is the 'eLeap' project - eLearning Flexible Delivery Advancement Program. This is the next stage in the University's strategic thinking about eLearning, to mature the institution's eLearning capabilities in a high-quality and sustainable way.
