Profile
In her role as the Student Engagement Officer, Julie is responsible for innovative developments and maintenance of programs relating to the student experience and campus life. This includes strategies to raise student aspirations and widen participation in higher education. Julie also works collaboratively with faculties around early identification of students 'at risk' of failing or leaving university prior to completion of their academic program.
Following an extensive career in the Sunshine Coast business sector, Julie came to the University in 2006 as administrative support for the USC Noosa Centre. Before joining Student Services, Julie held roles in the Faculty of Business and Student Administration.
Julie is currently enrolled in the Master of Education through the University of the Sunshine Coast.
