Clive has been a Careers and Graduate Employment Officer with USC since September 2005, working within the Careers and Employment Service, now called Career Connection.
He is responsible for designing, developing and implementing a range of career programs and activities including:
- Career management skills and graduate employment job search workshops
- Promoting and marketing the career development process and activities to students and staff
- Conducting career counselling consultations
- Delivering career education lectures to students
- Working in partnership with the Australian Association of Graduate Employers (AAGE)
Clive graduated with a Postgraduate Diploma in Careers Guidance from the University of Central England in 1993. He has worked in many key career development roles from 1987 including Generic Education and Project Careers Adviser; Careers Adviser Co-ordinating Mentoring Projects for the Institute of Careers Guidance; Education Development Programme Manager; Deputy Area Manager; Independent Consultant and Lecturer for the Centre for British Teachers; and Career Development Adviser.
In addition, Clive has experience lecturing and teaching, delivering professional development and career management courses and social care, youth and community programs.
Clive has also worked as a Career Adviser for the Department of Education, Employment and Workplace Relations (DEEWR) since August 2009.
