Internships and production workshops
Students from the Faculty of Arts and Business have had placements or internships with a number of community organisations.
Social Work, Human Services and Counselling placements
Placements introduce students to Social Work, Human Services and Counselling through a fieldwork placement where students learn through the actual experience of working in a government or a non-government agency.
The fieldwork placement gives students the opportunity to apply theory, skills and knowledge they encounter in Social Work, Human Services and Counselling courses in a practical setting, to establish professional relationships and to establish a professional identity.
The fieldwork placement is more than just work experience—it is a learning experience where theory and practice are integrated.
