School of Business
The School of Business at the University of the Sunshine Coast is committed to delivering business education that keeps pace with the constantly evolving global business environment. A business degree promises a world of opportunity to a wide range of career options.
At the undergraduate level, we offer a high quality business education in the traditional business disciplines such as accounting, human resource management, information systems, management and marketing, as well as in applied areas such as financial planning, international business, property economics and development, tourism, leisure and event management, entrepreneurship and small business management.
Our undergraduate students can undertake a workplace internship which enables them to learn more about the practical application of their business knowledge and enhance their future employability. Furthermore, students can undertake study overseas for one or two semesters via USC’s Global Opportunities program.
We offer a range of Masters programs in accounting, business administration and international business for students seeking a postgraduate business education, as well as the PhD program for students interested in pursuing a research-focused career.
Our School has gained a strong national reputation for the quality of its teaching as evidenced by our academic staff having been awarded several Australian Learning and Teaching Council Citations. We are also building a reputation for the quality of our research which informs our teaching and enables our staff to supervise PhD students across a range of business disciplines.
We look forward to welcoming you to the School of Business — as a student, a researcher, a business organisation, or as an individual who can contribute in some way to the quality of the learning experience for our students.
