Regional engagement

The Faculty of Science, Health, Education and Engineering is continuously developing and maintaining numerous regional partnerships to further the region's interest and the University's / Faculty's strategic priorities.

The Faculty has continued to build relationships within the region with over $1.7 million regional research and consultancy income generated by Faculty staff during 2009.

Five new memorandum of understandings were signed in 2009, with the following organisations:

  • The Environmental Institute of Australia and New Zealand
  • Australian Homeland Security
  • University of West Indies
  • Southbank Institute of Technology
  • Conservation Volunteers Australia

Technical Services offer public water quality analysis by leading and accredited facility staff. This service is offered by Analytical Services.

All Regional Engagement matters are currently led by our Faculty Regional Engagement Coordinator, Professor Brendan Burkett.
