Analytical Services
Located within the Faculty of Science, Health, Education and Engineering (FoSHEE) laboratories at Sippy Downs, Analytical Services is an accredited facility staffed by University personnel which provides a range of assays geared to the assessment of water quality. Services offered are characterised by the highest of standards and turnaround unsurpassed in South-East Queensland.
In addition to having appropriate technical qualifications and commitment to quality service, our staff members are encouraged to be aware of the sustainability issues relevant to provision of analytical testing in a laboratory environment. By providing testing and sampling services accredited to NATA standards, Analytical Services is neatly placed to address customer needs specific to the local region.
Laboratory management ensures a safe workplace, and coupled with a professional staff development program for each individual, strives to provide a stimulating work environment.
Quality
The laboratory has adopted the Plan, Implement, Review, and Improve USC quality framework to ensure continuous quality improvement including review of all documentation, processes and maintenance of a Quality Management System compliant with the ISO/IEC 17025:2005 standard. The laboratory is committed to the NATA Accreditation process (Accreditation Number 16969) under the requirements for accreditation in the fields of Chemical and Biological Testing.

Analytical Services will ensure client confidentiality at all times and operates works within the framework of the USC Privacy Policy.
