Dr Bremner has a wealth of knowledge in seafood processing and flesh quality, as well as food technology. He has been a collaborator on a number of projects with USC and we would like him to continue. Dr Bremner also teaches on flesh quality in the Aquaculture course. His area of expertise is Seafood flesh quality.
- Professor Frank Bullen: Dean, Faculty of Engineering and Surveying, University of Southern Queensland. Professor Bullen has been associated with the development of engineering at USC since its beginning three years ago and serves on the Management Committee overseeing the USC / USQ engineering collaboration agreement. Professor Bullen is a strong supporter of USC's program and provided very significant support in the accreditation of the Bachelor of Civil Engineering program. It is likely that his further support will be important to the success of our efforts in accrediting the new Mechanical Engineering program in 2013.

- Dr Bennan Chen: Larval Rearing and Research Development Manager, Cleanseas Tuna Ltd. Dr Chen's area of expertise is Tuna and Kingfish larval rearing and nutritional requirement studies. He will be an Adjunct Lecturer in Larval Rearing, co-supervising a PhD student and providing student supervision on-site at Port Lincoln. This field of research is an important part of USC collaboration with Cleanseas Tuna.

Dr Jiang is a Professor of Chemical Engineering and Deputy Director of Fuels and Energy Technology, Department of Chemical Engineering at Curtin University. Dr Jiang and Professor DeMarco were successful in an ARC Discovery Project awarded in November 2011 for a project titled 'New mesoporous materials for use in high temperature proton exchange fuel cell membranes'. Dr Jiang will also be co-supervising a PhD student as part of this project with Professor DeMarco.

Dr Keogh is an experienced researcher in the field of clinical exercise science and sport science. His clinical research has involved examining the benefits, barriers and motives to a range of physical activities such as resistance training, walking and dancing for older adults and those with chronic conditions especially cancer.

Dr Toisuta's adjunct appointment will strengthen the basis for a productive ongoing connection between USC, Dr Toisuta and West Papua. His area of expertise is Indonesian and West Papuan governance and education. - Professor David Walter; Royal Alberta Museum and University of Alberta, Canada - Adjunct professor. Formal affiliation with a local university will facilitate his ability to generate grant income and to continue his important research on mites and biodiversity. His breadth of experience in undergraduate teaching and postgraduate training will be beneficial to co-supervision of students as appropriate, and in collaboration with current researchers at USC. His area of expertise is Acarology, Invertebrate Ecology and Taxonomy.
