Profile

Dr Bill Allen was a high school teacher for 28 years, in schools in England and in Western Australia. He is involved in teacher education in the Graduate Diploma and Undergraduate programs, and in the professional development of practitioners in post-graduate programs at Graduate Certificate and Master’s levels. He supervises Doctoral students in a range of areas, with a particular interest in teacher education in developing countries. He has published in areas of school history, school operations, assessment, and high school/university transition. He has become deeply involved in school education in Indonesia and has led courses in the development of teachers and school leaders there.
