The University of the Sunshine Coast, in association with co-sponsors CPA Australia and The Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia and event sponsor UDIA, is delighted to invite business people in our region to attend the November USC Business Professionals' Forum on Thursday 19th November at 5.30pm.

These events are designed to allow business people in our region the opportunity to hear a high profile guest speaker address an issue of relevance, whilst allowing time for networking among members of the various professional bodies and industry groups attending.

Keynote Speakers

Our November forum will feature a panel of 3 special guests. We are delighted to welcome:

  • Dr John Montgomery: Internationally recognised authority and master planner in the economy, culture and design of cities who has been involved in numerous major projects including the Greater London Development Plan and the Economic Development Strategy for the South East of England. He is currently working on projects in Brisbane and New South Wales.
  • Dr Hugh Lavery: Environmental advisor to some of the biggest companies in Australia including Stanbroke and Meridien, and
  • Dr Mark Bachels: Regional Director of Parsons Brinckerhoff, a leading planning, environment and infrastructure firm.
  • The panel will be chaired by Professor Mike Hefferan, USC’s Professor of Property and Development and robust discussion is guaranteed.
