On Tuesday May 25, 450 local school students will be put to the test in a Maths Tournament being held at the University of the Sunshine Coast.

The challenge begins at 9am and 90 tables will be set up in the Innovation Centre, each table will have a team of six students, competing in group and individual challenges throughout the morning.

An extra 100 volunteers (parents and teachers) will supervise the teams to ensure everything is kept above board!

The students have been training hard for the big day and competition is fierce.

The event attracts the highest performing maths students on the coast and promotes maths as fun.
