Free information session Wednesday 15 September.

The University of the Sunshine Coast is holding an information session for people interested in finding out how their work and life experiences can count towards entry into university.

Aimed at mature age students and those who are not school leavers, alternative entry is for people who may not have formal academic qualifications (for example Year 12), but have years of work experience or professional and personal achievement.

The free information evening will be held on Wednesday September 15, at the University's Sippy Downs campus, corner of Sippy Downs Drive and Stringybark Roads.

The session is open to anyone interested in finding out more about alternative entry into higher education.

It will cover admission and assessment, how applicants are chosen, qualifications for entry, an explanation of what QTAC (Queensland Tertiary Admissions Centre) does and important dates for enrolment in 2005.

It will also include information on Special Tertiary Admissions Test, Personal Competencies Assessment and work experience.

Discover your options for university enrolment at the University of the Sunshine Coast on September 15.

Call Student Administration on (07) 5430 2890 to book your place.
