USC congratulates 1630 successful applicants
14 January, 2005
The University of the Sunshine Coast (USC) has sent 1630 successful applicants offers of a place at USC for Semester 1, 2005.
Offer packages will arrive in the mail either today (Friday) or next week.
Anyone who applied for the University of the Sunshine Coast, but does not receive an offer in the next week can call the University on 5430 2890 for advice.
Acting Vice-Chancellor, Professor Robert Elliot, said being offered a place at university is a major achievement.
"I congratulate all those people who have been offered a place at USC and I look forward to welcoming them to the University," Professor Elliot said.
And it is still not too late to apply to study at USC in 2005.
QTAC (Queensland Tertiary Admissions Centre) has extended the application date to January 21.
Application details are available through USC Student Administration or through QTAC.
"There are still opportunities for people to apply to USC for semester 1, 2005," Professor Elliot said.
"For anyone who has ever considered studying at University now is definitely the time to do it."
There are still pathways for applying and people can contact the University for advice beginning study in February.
"The situation may change next year, so if you are thinking about university study, don't put it off, act now," Professor Elliot said.
The second round of offers will be made on January 28.
