Change of preference information session

OP scores for school leavers are being mailed out on 16 December and the University of the Sunshine Coast (USC) is holding an information session for people who are interested in changing their QTAC preference.

The free information session will be held at 6.30pm on Wednesday 21 December at the University in Lecture Theatre 6.

Current undergraduate students and program advisers from the University's three faculties of Arts and Social Sciences, Business, and Science Health and Education will be available to discuss your choice of USC degree for 2006 and let you know what all your option are.

School leavers have until January 4 to change their preferences, and for anyone interested in studying at USC in 2006 - but hasn't applied yet - applications can still be made through QTAC until 16 December.

External Relations Officer for the University, Kylie McKenzie, said a lot may depend on school leaver's OP scores.

"Many students decide to change their QTAC preference once they have received their results," Ms McKenzie said.

"This information session is to help people sequence their preferences to get the greatest value from their OP.

"We will guide them through the changes they need to make to change their preference of study for 2006," she said.
