Taking the big step - choices after high school

If you are a Year 12 student or the parent of student who is thinking of going to university next year you need to be at the University of the Sunshine Coast (USC) on Wednesday 13 July at 6.30pm.

USC will be running a free information session on the choices available to students when they leave school as part of the University's Keep Pace program.

Keep Pace coordinator, Kylie McKenzie, said the session is designed to give students and their parents information about the choices they face.

"School leavers may the first in their families to attend university and parents have a lot of questions about the process of applying and choosing subjects," Ms McKenzie said.

"This session will address the common questions asked by students and their parents such as; where can I get good information, how can I upgrade my OP score, what will university really be like and what will it cost?"

The Keep Pace session is free but bookings are essential. Call 5430 1117 or email kmckenzi@usc.edu.au to secure your place.
