The session, held at the University on Wednesday 27 April from 6.30pm, will cover what courses are on offer at USC, how to apply through QTAC (Queensland Tertiary Admissions Centre) and how to improve your eligibility for tertiary study.
The session is for people who are interested in returning to study, regardless of how long it has been since they left school, and for those wanting to upgrade or change their careers.
The interactive evening will also include advice on how to cope with the demands of work, family and study.
Current mature age students (those over 21 years of age) and University staff will be on hand to answer all your questions.

While completing her degree, Ms Gill ran a busy family home and the office of the family business, and took part in numerous community activities.
Ms Gill chose an accounting degree to advance her career and she offers the following advice for anyone considering university study.

Former photographer, Richard Newton, wanted to expand his career opportunities when he enrolled in a Bachelor of Science (Environmental Science).
He graduated this year is now employed as a Biodiversity Officer for Maroochy Shire Council on the Sunshine Coast.
"My greatest achievement was going back to university as a mature age student," Mr Newton said.
