USC showcases overseas study opportunities

USC students Jaclyn Evans, Joel Green and Deborah Davies at the University of Kassel in Germany

6 March 2007

Prospective and current University of the Sunshine Coast students can learn all about the opportunities for them to study overseas at an Exchange Fair at USC on Thursday 15 March.

The fair from 10am to 2pm will highlight USC’s Global Opportunities (GO) program, the University’s student exchange program which recently received a commendation from the Australian Universities Quality Agency.

GO gives students the opportunity to spend a semester in one of USC’s many partner universities around the world, with the overseas study counting towards their degrees.

The Exchange Fair will be held outside the University Brasserie and be attended by visitors from some partner universities from countries including Germany, the United States, Korea and Japan.

International students will promote their home schools and countries, while USC students who have participated in the GO program and studied with partner schools overseas will be there to share their experiences.

USC’s Career Connection, Student Services, Student Guild and CHASE (Centre for Healthy Activities, Sport and Exercise) will have booths promoting their services.
