USC's teaching and learning go under the microscope
The University of the Sunshine Coast will put its teaching and learning strategies under the microscope at its annual Vice-Chancellor's Learning and Teaching Colloquium on Wednesday 30 May.
The event will feature a keynote address by Dr Marcia Devlin, a senior lecturer in Higher Education at The University of Melbourne, and presentations by 11 USC academic staff.
Dr Devlin has an extensive background in teaching and learning development and is well known nationally, particularly for her work in assessment and student finances.
The Vice-Chancellor's Learning and Teaching Colloquium is held annually as a forum for advancing learning and teaching at USC.
It also provides an opportunity for staff to present research into their teaching practice and to engage in reflection and collaboration with colleagues.
