Spotlight on postgraduate business programs
The University of the Sunshine Coast will hold a special information evening from 6pm on Wednesday 26 November for those interested in studying postgraduate business programs in 2009.
This event will outline USC’s suite of postgraduate offerings in business, with particular focus on its Master of Management, Master of Business Administration (MBA) and its new Executive Master of Business Administration (EMBA).
USC’s Dean of Business Professor Evan Douglas will make a special presentation about the study programs and will discuss the benefits of postgraduate study for career advancement.
Those attending will be encouraged to ask questions and talk one-on-one with Faculty of Business staff.
Professor Douglas said he expected plenty of interest in the EMBA program which has been structured to provide a powerful learning environment for busy executives.
“Classes will be attended only by EMBA students who have significant work experience, and the study program will be delivered through intensive weekend classes once a month for two years,” he said.
“EMBA participants will be given the opportunity to develop their strategic thinking, leadership skills and competencies in areas such as marketing, accounting, financial management and economics.”
Bookings for the information evening are essential by contacting USC’s Faculty of Business events coordinator Julie Flanagan on (07) 5459 4608 or via email at <Jflanaga@usc.edu.au>.
