Memorial service for USC student
A memorial service for University of the Sunshine Coast student Jason Palmer will be held at the University today (Thursday 6 November) at 4pm.
The service has been organised by Jason’s employer Shadforth Civil Engineering Contractors and the University to honour the life of Jason who had been studying a Bachelor of Science degree.
Jason, who had just turned 21, died in a diving accident off Caloundra on Monday 3 November.
The service will be conducted by Anglican Archdeacon Richard Gowty and will be held in the University Club.
People who knew Jason are welcome to pay their respects at the service which will be attended by Jason’s parents, his work mates and university friends.
