Orientation at University’s Noosa Centre
New students enrolled at the University of the Sunshine Coast’s Noosa Centre are expected to turn out in force for a special Noosa Orientation program on Monday 18 February and Tuesday 19 February.
Students will be able to find out about the University’s services and facilities at The J in Noosa Junction on Monday and travel en masse by bus to the USC Campus at Sippy Downs on Tuesday.
There will be an official welcome at 10am Monday in The J’s auditorium, before USC staff outline the support services available to Noosa students.
After light refreshments at 10.45am, there will be a site orientation of rooms and facilities. Information sessions will follow at 11.30am, providing specific details on how to structure degree programs, select courses and access online information.
Students will then have a choice of two tutorials on either the USC computer network or the University’s library services from 12.30pm to 1.30pm.
On Tuesday (19 February), students will travel by bus to the USC Campus at Sippy Downs for a campus orientation, photo session and other fun activities. Buses will leave the Noosa Centre at 9am.
Noosa students also are welcome to attend other Orientation Week activities at the USC Campus next week.
