University to re-open on 4 January 2010
The University of the Sunshine Coast will be closed for the week between Christmas Day and New Year’s Day, and will re-open on Monday 4 January 2010.
USC wishes all a safe and enjoyable festive season.
Information about applying to study at the University in Semester 1, 2010, is available on the USC website.
Applications for Queensland Tertiary Admissions Centre’s (QTAC) major offer round on 14 January 2010 have closed. However, people can still apply via QTAC for consideration in late offer rounds for undergraduate degrees and the Graduate Diploma of Education.
For more information in relation to QTAC applications and changing preferences, see the QTAC website or phone 1300 467 822. QTAC will be open for business between Christmas and New Year (28-31 December).
USC Admissions Manager Kath Hughes said applicants for high-demand programs – especially Nursing, Nutrition and Dietetics, Occupational Therapy and Paramedic Science – should seek advice from Student Administration before submitting late QTAC applications.
Ms Hughes said they could email information@usc.edu.au or phone (07) 5430 2890 after 4 January.
“We will be happy for people to make an appointment with one of our admissions officers after we re-open in January if they would like to discuss their options,” she said.
Ms Hughes said applications were still open via direct application to USC for the Tertiary Preparation Pathway (TPP) program and for all other postgraduate programs, except the Bachelor of Social Science (Psychology)(Honours) and Master of Psychology (Clinical).
Application forms for TPP and postgraduate programs can be downloaded from the USC website.
