Resolution pays off for Design students
A crowd of about 300 people is expected to attend the opening of an exhibition by University of the Sunshine Coast advanced-level Design students at the USC Gallery tomorrow night (Thursday 12 November).
The resolution through design exhibition will feature the stunning portfolios of design students who are about to embark on careers in marketing, advertising, multimedia and communication.
JosephMark Brisbane managing director Ben Johnston and creative director Jess Huddart will officially open the exhibition at 6pm.
USC’s Computer-Based Design Lecturer Toni Coles said the students had used the resolution through design theme to create an exhibition that highlighted their career aspirations, determination and creativity.
Ms Coles said the exhibition included work that would appeal to industry professionals, future students and the general community.
Students graduating from USC with art and design degrees have the potential to work as professionals in advertising, graphic design, information visualisation, interpretive design, animation, multimedia design and development, packaging, publishing and web design.
resolution through design will continue at the University of the Sunshine Coast Gallery, Sippy Downs, until Saturday 21 November.
Admission is free and the Gallery is open from 10am to 4pm Mondays to Saturdays.
