Information event to help career change
The University of the Sunshine Coast will hold its annual Return to Study Evening from 6.30pm on Wednesday 21 October.
This popular presentation outlines what is required to gain admission to university, how applicants can improve their tertiary eligibility, and USC’s range of study programs and support services.
USC External Relations Manager Kylie Russell said the Return to Study Evening provided a great opportunity for those who are considering a career change to discover how they can achieve their goals.
“People who have been out of the formal education system for some time and want to start a new career usually have specific questions about their eligibility for university, the support available and about career paths,” she said.
“They are often delighted to learn that there are many pathways to university and that they are eligible to study at USC.”
Ms Russell said the University of the Sunshine Coast has a wide range of undergraduate degree programs, including a new Bachelor of Education (Primary) degree.
“If you haven’t studied for a while, don’t worry,” she said. “You won’t be alone. Half of our students at USC are aged over 21.”
